Find your stride this World Vegan Day
When you think about the vegan movement, the first thing that pops into people’s minds is often food.
From delicious tarts and cakes through to raw Buddha bowls, you don’t have to scroll (pardon the pun) very far to find vegan food pics, cafes and blogs.
But food is just the tip of the compassionate iceberg.
For many vegans, making a dietary shift is often the first transition into a vegan lifestyle.
Being a vegan is an infinite journey
It’s more than food, it’s a decision to live your life in a way that impacts the world for good.
Often, the next step in this process is the wardrobe.
Admittedly, it can feel overwhelming to know where to start and to know which brands really are driven by purpose and impact.
That’s why Vegan Style is one of a kind.
We do all the hard work in sourcing ethically produced vegan footwear, bags and accessories so you don’t have to.
Stepping into your shoes
For those that are unfamiliar, Justin Mead started Vegan Style already well versed in what it’s like to live a vegan lifestyle.
From a young age he felt conflicted by his family cooking animals for dinner, and often spent his time reflecting on their plight.
By the time he was in his teens he was vegetarian (vegan was unheard of then!)
Then by the age of 29 he was vegan.
But the chances are, if you’re reading this, you weren’t born vegan.
Which is why, at Vegan Style we operate on a non-judgement policy.
We choose to walk through each day by living out our values rather than telling people how to live theirs.
So whether you’re a pre-vegan or a 30-year vegan pro, just know you’ll be treated with the respect and kindness you deserve whenever you engage with us.
