Introducing one of our most sustainable sneakers yet - the Revenant Sneaker by Brave Gentleman New York. This vulcanised, vegan sneaker is hand-crafted with recycled uppers made from waste-diverted cotton and waste-diverted polyester. The materials are recycled in Brazil without the use of chemicals or dyes.

In folklore, a revenant (from the French word for “the returning”) is one who returns from the dead to haunt the living, often warning of impending doom. In a way, these sneakers are our dead textile waste returned from the landfill to remind us of the impending consequences of what the Ellen MacArthur Foundation estimates is 55 million tonnes* of clothing disposed of each year.
